RAD has grown substantially since its fruition in 2007. Even with volunteers and individual donations from our generous volunteers, it still doesn't cover the true cost of operation. We welcome sponsorship from organizations that align with our mission and goals. Please contact us to see how your organization can support our efforts.
Every dollar counts and goes directly to the event and our families. Because our event is not sponsored and lead by any one organization, we rely on the donations of our community members to supplement the cost of operation. Cash donations are tax-deductible.
PARTNERSHIP
Partnerships from local community organizations have been the backbone of RAD. This event continues to be a collaborative effort between refugee resettlement agencies, local non-profits, legal and government organizations, and some corporations. Butterfly Boxes have been collecting donation of goods for families who need it most throughout Portland for several years. With their support, we are collecting supplies and materials for the event as well as household items and food for our refugee families.
You are why RAD works! RAD is a collective effort of over 300 volunteers of all backgrounds and professions. When you volunteer you get to meet and help our newest community members make Portland their new home. The big hugs from the little kiddos are a special bonus!
PURCHASE MERCH
For the past several years, Refutees has donated the printing cost of the RAD t-shirts for our volunteers. These past beloved merchandise will be available for purchase soon. Proceeds goes back to our program and to our families.
